OUR MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Fourth District PTA is to empower councils, units, families and community members to become effective advocates for all children and youth.

4th District PTA 2009-2011 Goals

• Fourth District PTA will strengthen its connections with councils, units, and members by expanding district services, resources, and training.
• Fourth District PTA will provide effective, timely communications within our organization and will increase its relevance, participation, and visibility in the Orange County community.
• Fourth District PTA will emphasize the importance of advocacy in PTA, work to increase participation in advocacy activities at the unit, council, and district levels, and equip local PTA members to be effective advocates.
• Fourth District PTA will support membership development and growth by identifying areas of concern and establishing a structured membership program that includes training and increased communication.
• Fourth District PTA will reach out to those who have been underrepresented in PTA, including men, non-English speaking families, and individuals from all family structures.
