Feb. 2 - Apr. 20	District registration and dinner fees due.
Apr. 1 - Apr. 16	CAPTA Registration increases to $180
Apr. 20	Delegate Open House 4th District PTA office, 9:30 a.m.
Apr. 29 - May 2	CAPTA Convention Sacramento. Onsite Registration: $200
April 29	4th District Dinner (Captains Gala Dinner) $45

California State PTA Convention

Don’t miss the 111th California State PTA Convention, one of the most important events in the PTA year! Every unit and council should send delegates to receive training, network with members from throughout the state, and participate in deciding the future course of the State PTA. (See Section 2.8.1b of the California State PTA Toolkit to determine how many delegates your PTA may send.)

Everything you need is on the State PTA website at http://www.capta.org/sections/convention-2010/ The Registration Book on the website provides a complete schedule of events, a list of workshops, maps, procedures and directions for registering.

You can register online or by mail. Your name badge and workshop tickets will be mailed to you if you register by March 31. If you list your school address your materials will be mailed to the school. You can also make hotel reservations online. Go to the convention page and click on Housing.

All delegates from Fourth District PTA must pay a $15 Fourth District fee, which should be paid to your council. Each council should remit one check to Fourth District PTA prior to the April 20 Delegate Orientation.
